4. Data Retention

Under Swedish law (Bokföringslagen 1999:1078), we retain financial and transaction data for 7 years for accounting and tax purposes.

Inactive accounts are automatically closed after 24 months of inactivity. Personal data is then removed from active systems.

You may request deletion of your account or specific data at any time. However, we may retain certain information (such as invoices) as required by law. Such data will be archived, access-restricted, and removed from user-facing systems.

All personal data is stored on servers located within the European Union. We do not transfer data outside the EU/EEA. Our hosting providers are GDPR-compliant and maintain data centers in Sweden and other EU countries.

9. Shipping & Service Region

Proto-shop operates exclusively within the European Union. We only ship to EU addresses and all our services are provided within the EU.

10. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, an EU-compliant payment processor.

We do not store your full credit card details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment card information in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

We receive only: transaction confirmation, payment status, last 4 digits of card (for order reference), and billing address for invoice purposes.
